Green Building
Mike and I have started thinking about what kind of house we'll build when we leave Utah. One thing we agree on (ok, probably the only thing we agree on) is that it should be "green." So I went on a Googlequest for books and information. Gotta start reading up on it now, you know! I found out that Mother Earth News magazine is still in business. We subscribed years ago. It's kind of like finding an old friend after losing touch.

Sunshine
A package appeared on my porch Saturday. It was filled with 26 lemons from my friend Deb's tree. She lives in Phoenix where, I'm guessing, it's lemon season. These are so sweet and juicy that you could probably eat them like an orange. As it is, we've been making lemonade. So much better than the stuff you buy at the store.
Fresh Lemonade
In a tall glass:
Juice 1 lemon
Add 2 to 3 Tablespoons sugar
Add ice and water to fill
Stir and taste. Adjust sugar accordingly.
Happy New Year Everyone!

It's BAAAAAAACCCCCCKKKKKK
Got my car back last Friday. One not too awful wreck and the total bill was $6300. I didn't have to pay any of it. But OMG that's amazing. If they'd mucked up the front door panel as well they'd have had to total my relatively new car! What's up with that?
